This robust sake stands its ground when it accompanies highly-flavored, rich dishes.
Wonderfully cleansing when paired with Kakuni pork belly or black cod, but pairs well with full-flavored sashimi such as tuna or mackerel.
Mature, mild aromas of rice with a hint of bitterness. Clean but robust acidity is followed by the sharp finish true to its name "Cho Karakuchi (extra dry)".
It makes a great choice for those who desire to move beyond "fruity" and try dry, rice-y sake.
