Named after the famous Japanese poet Toson Shimazaki, who dedicated a poem to the Chikumagawa river, this densely textured Nigori brings out the pure rice flavors of the Chikumagawa region. Richly sweet with a balanced acidity. Best enjoyed chilled.
A very floral and aromatic nose slightly vegetal and mildly fruity. The tart tastes and textures soften to a creamy and long-lasting flavor around room temperature. Serve slightly chilled or at room temperature.
